Winchcombe Film Society presents: Frida

The Oscar winning biopic of Frida Kahlo comes to the big screen at the Izzy.

Frida Kahlo is counted as one of the great artists of the 20th century. Frida tells her story from the accident that shaped her life and talent through her relationships, her politics and her battle for acceptance. Salma Hayek stars as Frida Kahlo with Alfred Molina as Diego Rivera.

The American Film Institute called it a ''movie about art that is a work of art itself''.

Winner of two Oscars (make up and best original score) and nominated for another four (including Best Actress for Selma Hayek as Frida), this was a critical hit that became a cultural signpost.

Winchcombe Film Society members: free entry. Non members can buy a ticket on the door for £5 per person.

This is a Winchcombe Film Society event. Isbourne Arts membership does not apply to ticket prices for this film. All tickets are sold by Winchcombe Film Society.
