Creative Carers, a brand new way to enjoy art and share your experiences
Creative Carers is a new pilot project bringing together unpaid carers for a welcome creative break at Isbourne Arts in Winchcombe.
This seven week course will teach you new skills, get you trying new arts and crafts and give you the chance to connect with others who share your experience.
Anyone aged 18+ in or around the town who provides regular, unpaid support to a loved one is invited to find some welcome distraction from daily challenges through having a go at a range of creative arts activities.
Sessions will run from 12:45 – 2:45pm on Wednesdays from 24 June to 5 August 2026. And it's completely free.
Each participant will also benefit from one-to-one chats with their Artist Facilitator, Emma who also has experience as an unpaid carer. She will support you to stay creative and well after the sessions have finished. Carers involved will also have access to resources, such as video tutorials and worksheets to help them stay creative at home.
Seven weekly sessions - June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29 and August 5. Each session starts at 12.45pm and runs until 2.45pm.
