Classic Wind

A concert of light classical and popular music for a summer evening's entertainment. The programme will include: well known classics, Bach's Air on a G String and Elgar's Salut d'Amour, both arranged by Lisa Portus; folksongs, Gwyn Parry-Jones (Wind and Sea) and Harrold (Three British Folksongs); and dances composed by Farkas, Agay and Herold.

Classic Wind, a long established Gloucestershire based wind quintet, comprises some of the best players from local orchestras. The musicians perform original quintets and arrangements of well-known music to the highest standards.

Donations on the door; suggested donation £10.

Seating will be cabaret style downstairs and on church pews in the balcony. Doors and bar will open 45 minutes before the concert begins.
