National Theatre Live at Isbourne Arts
Our latest screening: Jack Lowden (Slow Horses) and Martin Freeman (The Hobbit) star in this subversively funny new play by David Ireland.
After years in the 12 step programme of Alcoholics Anonymous, James becomes a sponsor to newcomer, Luka. The pair bond over black coffee and trade stories but as Luka approaches step five, the moment of confession, dangerous truths emerge, threatening the trust on which both of their recoveries depend.
Directed by Finn den Hertog, this is a provocative production, filmed live in London’s West End.
Tickets: £15.50 standard; £11.60 under-26
Screening starts at 7.30pm, doors and bar open at 6.45pm.
