Will Barnes Quartet

The Will Barnes Quartet's music combines timeless laid-back swing tunes, punctuated by sharply-focused fiery passages; the sound is fresh, consistently breathing new life into classic works, alongside Will’s memorable compositions. Known for their tight interplay and dynamic live performances, this tour offers an evening of contemporaray jazz that's both heartfelt and compelling.

Their new album, Outside the Light, is characterised by fluid, melodic music reflecting the changing seasons in the landscape of mid Wales, where the musicians all live. Drawing inspiration from local folklore and Celtic mythology, the music explores themes of light, seasons and changing landscapes.
