The summer production from the Winchcombe Players.
Grab your hats as the Winchcombe Players bring Ladies Day to Isbourne Arts
The latest production from the Players is Ladies Day by Amanda Whittington, the story of four women with run of the mill jobs and broken dreams who each find a reason to hope on a surprise trip to Royal Ascot.
Warm, funny and ultimately moving, this comedy sees four Hull fish factory workers swap their overalls for big hats and head off to Royal Ascot. What begins as a day out quickly becomes a journey of self-discovery, as friendships are tested, secrets emerge, and each woman dares to imagine a different future.
Full of sharp humour, big-hearted characters and moments of real poignancy, the play captures both the excitement of a special occasion and the deeper hopes and struggles beneath it.
The Players invite you to wear your best hat or outfit and enjoy a feel good evening of fun. An amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books
Tickets: £16 standard and £12 under-26
